How do "they" do it?
Explaining the nature of this phenomenon will require a number of preliminary notes. First of all it should be stressed that what is usually mistaken for paranormal telepathic abilities of the human nature does not belong to it, but to the originally angelic nature of the creatures of parallel world. * * *
But let us return to the sudden appearance of paranormal abilities in nowadays psychics, hypnotists, illusionists and the like. I base my conclusions on the following: the revelation of the Holy Scripture of the angelic world consisting of the two opposite categories of spiritual beings; the written testimony of a great number of Orthodox saints of all times who, practising the discernment of spirits, gave a most sober description of the spiritual reality; my own experience of spiritual struggle as a monk and a priest; a thorough analysis of a vast amount of modern para-psychological and psychopathological data. All this suggest that:
Their usual way to communicate with each other, as well as with a medium, is mental translation of information from one mind to another; it is as easy for them as for us to speak. They introduce their thoughts directly into the medium's mind.
Some mediums have received information about their keeping the humankind under close observation throughout the whole history. They really struggle against God for each person so as, if possible, to lead a man astray from his Creator. Yet the holy fathers of the Church teach, that the creatures of parallel world are able to influence the mind only one-sidedly, i.e. they can suggest their thoughts and emotions, but have no power to "read out" what a man thinks or feels, judging only from his outward actions and words.
They also claim that they significantly exceed the entire globe population in number, which is quite possible, for the parallel world is in fact boundless. They concentrate, however, around the earth as their main interests are closely connected with people. U. Geller writes: "All these Minds are sure to inhabit the space. There are innumerable billions of them in the universe". Can we believe it, taking into account their usual habit of lie?
We shall certainly follow the revelation given by God Himself in the holy Scriptures. The Bible's first books were written about three and a half thousand and the last - two thousand years ago. In its entirety the books of the Old and the New Testaments point at the existence of a parallel non-material world calling it either "the invisible" (Col. 1:16) or "the heaven of heavens" as in Nehem. 9:6: "Thou, even Thou, art Lord alone; Thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and Thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth Thee". See also Psalm 148: 1-2: "Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights. Praise ye Him, all His angels; praise ye Him all His hosts".
The holy Bible says that the parallel world consists of created rational beings deprived of any fleshly bodies. They are all called "angels" but are divided into two distinct classes: the good Angels who have established themselves in the love of God, and the fallen angels that have fixed their wills in hubris against their Creator. These latter are also called "evil spirits" or "devils" in the Bible, having numberless names in folk languages (sprites, elves, fairies, gnomes, goblins, gremlins, hobgoblins, brownies, house-spirits etc.) gaining specific features in each traditional culture, none of which, by the way, doubt the parallel immaterial world's existence.
The most direct allusion to the number of the angels of God is found in a spiritual vision written down by the prophet Daniel: "thousand thousands ministered unto Him and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him" (Dan. 7: 10). In ancient languages, including the Hebrew, such expressions meant "countless numbers".
The creatures of parallel world, due to a history-long experience of spying people and a perfectly quick way of exchanging information among themselves, can easily learn from each other any available to them information on any person or event that had ever lived or happened at any point of the globe. It is their memory and their collective mental experience that constitute the kernel of the reality expressed by the newly-invented terms like "the universal informational field" or "the cosmic data bank".
The creatures of parallel world can also transmit any available to them information into the minds of people by means of: a) telepathic translation of visual images appearing before the inner sight (perception hallucinations in intra-projection), or b) translation of thoughts (a higher automatism in the sphere of ideation), or c) an imitation of voice heard inside the medium's mind (auditory pseudo-hallucinosis).
All these phenomena have for the recent two hundred years been studied by psychiatry as mental disorders, which they certainly are, for they do not at all constitute natural human abilities. Yet their occurrence is not only due to pathologic processes in the brain, as the vulgar materialists believe leaving no place for any other form of life except the protein-nuclein one. The etiology of such processes is usually given very scarce consideration, if any, for without taking into account the influence of the non-molecular component (the non-protein rational creatures) it is really too obscure. The highly optional and unpredictable character of CPW influence in mental disorders should as well be remembered in their diagnosing and treatment.
